1. Information We Collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you choose to submit: name, email, city, move date, budget, household size, bedrooms, bathrooms, neighbourhood, referral source, and consent confirmations.
This policy explains how FlatFinder handles waitlist information and pre-launch communications. It is designed with Canadian privacy principles, UK data protection expectations, and Commonwealth users in mind.
When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you choose to submit: name, email, city, move date, budget, household size, bedrooms, bathrooms, neighbourhood, referral source, and consent confirmations.
We rely on your consent for waitlist communications and legitimate business purposes for basic security, duplicate prevention, and service administration. You can withdraw from marketing communications at any time by contacting flat@flatfinder.io or using unsubscribe tools once broadcast email is enabled.
Waitlist data is stored in Supabase using server-side credentials. If configured, FlatFinder may sync email contacts to Resend or a similar email service for launch communications. We do not sell waitlist data.
FlatFinder may use service providers that process data in Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other Commonwealth and international jurisdictions. Where applicable, we use contractual and operational safeguards to protect personal information.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal information. Canadian users may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and UK users may contact the Information Commissioner's Office if they are not satisfied with our response.
We keep waitlist records while FlatFinder is developing, launching, and operating, unless you ask us to remove your information or we no longer need it for the purposes above.
Privacy questions or requests can be sent to flat@flatfinder.io.
