These terms govern access to the FlatFinder waitlist, website, brand materials, software, data, and related pre-launch services.

Patent pending warning: FlatFinder technology, workflows, matching systems, affordability logic, anti-gatekeeping processes, and Benny-related product experiences may be covered by patent applications filed or to be filed with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office and/or other offices. CIPO states that "Patent pending" may be used after filing and can warn others, although the phrase itself has no legal effect until a patent is granted.

1. Who We Are

FlatFinder is operated by Lila Olufemi Inglis Abegunrin / FlatFinder: Housing Revolutionised Inc. References to "FlatFinder," "Benny," "we," "us," and "our" mean the FlatFinder website, waitlist, software, brand, and pre-launch services.

2. Waitlist Use

You may join the waitlist to receive launch updates and early access information. You agree to provide accurate information, use the website lawfully, and avoid interfering with the service, scraping protected systems, reverse engineering private technology, or submitting malicious content.

3. Intellectual Property

FlatFinder, Benny, the FlatFinder brand, mascot, product concepts, software, algorithms, page designs, written copy, graphics, data structure, workflows, and all related materials are proprietary intellectual property. All rights are reserved unless we give written permission.

  • Patents: Patent pending notices apply to eligible inventions, methods, and systems. No licence is granted to copy, build, commercialize, or derive competing systems from FlatFinder technology.
  • Trademarks: FlatFinder™, Benny™, and related marks, names, designs, slogans, and trade dress may be protected as trademarks or passing-off rights in Canada, the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, and Commonwealth jurisdictions.
  • Copyright: Website text, code, images, characters, design files, database structures, and other original works are protected by copyright law and treaty rights.

4. Geographic Scope

These terms are written for Canada, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Commonwealth jurisdictions where FlatFinder may operate, communicate, or protect its intellectual property. Local laws may give you non-excludable rights that these terms do not limit.

5. No Housing, Legal, or Financial Advice

FlatFinder is a pre-launch housing discovery product. Website content and waitlist communications are general information only and are not legal, financial, real estate, tenancy, immigration, or professional advice.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, harvest personal data, impersonate another person, upload unlawful material, or use FlatFinder to discriminate against renters or housing seekers.

7. Availability and Changes

FlatFinder is in development. Features, launch timing, pricing, supported cities, and eligibility may change. We may update these terms by posting a newer version on this page.
